(My mom and dad are leaving for their mission soon and Halle keeps a picture of them by her bed. She is going to miss her Mommer and Papa!)
(Halle's green bird died the other day. :( We were all sad to see him go.)

Halle,
Do you know what your eyes tell me, in this picture? It tells me that Heavenly Father and Jesus love everybody! They are saying, "I love life!" I'm thankful for Halle and the bright light and smile you are to me. You even outshine the roses behind you!
I'm so happy your like school and are working hard to learn all you can. Learning new stuff make your brain grow, not in size, but in "smartness." You are smart and are going to use that talent from the Lord to help everyone, everyone He loves in the world.
I can imagine in my mind, stepping into that picture, scooping you up in my arms and sqeezing you. I'm so blessed to have you as my grandaughter. That makes me important too. I love you Halle, and happy times ahead, being six.
