What wonderful missionaries they will make. Their whole lives, they have been great missionaries and friends to everyone they meet. I'm so greatful for such wonderful parents, who have taught me the way of the gospel. And if you work hard, and do what is right, you can be happy! They have always been my close friends. I'm so proud of you, Mom and Dad, for your willingness to serve the Lord...no questions asked...nothing is going to stop you now! ;)

(My mom and dad are leaving for their mission soon and Halle keeps a picture of them by her bed. She is going to miss her Mommer and Papa!)

Excited to learn!

Well, like everyone, Halle started school two weeks ago. She is loving it and is doing so well. She's been taking the bus, which is not bad. Some of her friends are on it and it's right in front of our house. So I can't complain. The first day, she came home and said, "Mom, when are we going to start working? We didn't even do any of our letters." She is so ready!

Good job Halle, we are so proud of you!

Summer fun!

We've been pretty busy having fun with little Bill and each other this summer! And these shorts are what they have been wearing everywhere we go. How cheap am I!

2 weeks, 1 day

That is how long we've had our baby Bill around. It seems like its been longer. I guess in a way, it has!

He was 9lb. 1oz., 20 in. long, chest was 14 1/4". So imagine how big his shoulders are! Man...but I did it!

He is getting so much love from his sisters!

Marilee Gibbens

She's the big 4 today! Holy cow, it goes by fast!

We love our little Marilee! She is so loving towards anyone and everyone! With her curls and her big smile, she brightens up a room where ever she goes. She's learning how to write so well, she loves to write her name and it's a long name! We're so proud of you Marilee and we love having you in the middle. Thank you for being so good to us and your sisters! You're going to be such a great little mother to your new little brother.

First stitches

Well, yes. Even in this house hold of girls, Sarah had to go and get some stitches on the bottom of her chin today! She smacked it on the corner of the table. I don't have a picture of it to post, but we don't need to see it. It was little enough where there wasn't blood gushing, but enough to get 4 little ones. She did so great...okay, so she was flippin' out, but she was a trooper!

She's her daddy's girl! (not even 2 1/2 yet and already getting stitches)
